GIVING BACK
Getting a chill can bring on a cold. So bundle up and keep your feet warm and dry.
Recent research has shown that cold feet can trigger a common cold, not just viruses.
Catching A Cold
Infectious disease specialists may ridicule the hoary concept that cold wet feet can trigger the symptoms of a common cold. Viruses cause these infections, not wet feet, they argue. But a team headed by Ronald Eccles, Ph.D., D.Sc., of Cardiff University is recommending a new look.
Dr. Eccles said the results of a randomised study bear out a two-pronged hypothesis: that many of us carry around a subclinical cold infection and that chilling the feet opens the door for it to become a full-blown cold.
Friction Blisters
Blisters can be painful and for kids especially, you need a sock that can keep them going all day without complaints.
You need your socks to move sweat and moisture away from the foot while also allowing it to breathe.
All of this will reduce the risk of blisters.
There's a reason runners swear to wool-blend socks!
Merino will move the moisture away and allows for full breathability, while also being less coarse than regular wool, so without any of the itch.
Itchy Feet
If you buy low-grade non-merino wool socks, be prepared for some itchiness. Merino wool doesn’t itch at all, but lower grade quality wool definitely does. No one likes itchy feet.
The socks are made with a special Stay Up Technology. This means the socks will stay on and not fall off in the pram, when playing or at home. The Stay Up Technology is a special knitting technique that wraps gently around the leg.
Using Seamless Technology, the socks are smooth to wear without stitching that's uncomfortable for children.
"The kids love them - haven't taken them off and they can't pull them off!!! Genius!!"- Natalie, mum of 2 little kids
Our AWARD WINNING merino socks are your baby's or childs go-to sock for anything from trips in the pram to kicking a ball to skiing a mountain.
Little feet will remain warm and dry in merino, and our knee-high socks will never fall off.
Friction blisters are one of the most common foot-related complaints by children. The unique properties of merino wool can prevent this from happening.
Other benefits include:
STAY UP TECHNOLOGY - our special knitting technique keeps the sock up by wrapping the merino safely around the leg. Lost pram socks no more.
GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD - merino naturally stretches so our socks expand past their size range - magically springing back to shape.
SEAMLESS TECHNOLOGY - no seams. Super comfy - moves with busy little feet.
NATURALLY BETTER VALUE - keep their look & fit - after many washes & throughout their lifetime. Perfect hand-me-down.
100% MERINO BENEFITS - our special knit construction safely includes nylon lycra to give precise tension & comfort where your child needs it.
All the merino benefits with the best fit & comfort.

Doctors Recommend Warm Socks
Some researchers believe that having cold feet is an inherited trait. Since there's no medical cause, warm socks are the solution!

In cold, wet weather, cotton socks just won’t cut it.
When it gets wet, cotton loses all insulating properties, so you may as well not be wearing anything on your feet at all. Not a happy situation.
And it doesn’t matter how warm your winter boots are. If you’re wearing cotton socks, your feet will perspire, and you will end up with cold, damp feet.

Warm Feet Are Happy Feet - See Them All Here
Yale researchers studying the rhinovirus — the common cold virus — have found a link between temperature and our body’s ability to fight a cold. The colder we get, the easier it is for the rhinovirus to trounce us into sniffling, sneezing defeat.
