The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organisations that handle credit card and debit card information. Defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, the standard was created to increase controls around credit card data and reduce credit card fraud.
In addition, our web shop uses SSL secure to protect all your data so none of your private information will ever be visible or shared. You can see the SSL secure when a site URL starts with https and not http. SSL is a secure certificate that offers three layers of protection:
ENCRYPTION: all data sent between a browser (client) and a website (server) are encrypted so that even if information is stolen or intercepted, a hacker won’t be able to decrypt details.

Using only http means your data is publicly available - for instance if you’re using a café’s wifi. Any data transferred with the HTTP protocol can be intercepted or even manipulated by third parties.
