Everything we do at Roots & Wings is designed to look after children and care for the planet they will inherit – from our packaging and Giving Back programmes to the clothing itself.
Each garment has been thoughtfully designed and lovingly created, hand-sewn by expert New Zealand seamstresses. And each collection is strictly limited edition to make it extra special for your child.
The base layers next to your baby’s skin have a significant impact on their wellbeing. Often these base layers are not seen – they’re the hidden helper. For me, knowing the background and fibres of each garment I buy shows an ethical stance to my children. They grow up inheriting many of your values, so I want to deliver a garment you can be proud to tell your child about too.
It’s a lot of hard leg work and we’re constantly improving and taking small steps to improve our collections and sustainable practices. From our fabrics and production to our packaging and the charities we support.
